Revived Medical Aesthetics

By Jenn, Medical Aesthetician at Revived Medical Aesthetics

One of the most common concerns I hear from my clients is aging around the eyes.

People start noticing little lines, crepey skin, dark circles, or that the skin just doesn’t look as smooth as it used to. The reason this area shows aging so quickly is because the skin around our eyes is much thinner and more delicate than the rest of the face.

The good news is that there are some really effective treatments that can help improve this area and stimulate collagen without surgery.

Here are a few of my favorite treatments for rejuvenating the eye area.

Laser Resurfacing for Fine Lines and Crepey Skin

One of my favorite treatments for the eye area is laser resurfacing, especially treatments like CoolPeel CO₂.

I love this treatment because it helps resurface the skin while also stimulating collagen. That means we can improve:

• fine lines

• crepey texture

• sun damage

• overall skin quality around the eyes

Many of my patients are surprised at how much smoother and brighter the eye area can look after collagen starts rebuilding.

RF Microneedling for Skin Tightening

Another treatment I use a lot when someone is starting to see a little laxity around the eyes is RF microneedling.

This treatment works deeper in the skin to stimulate collagen and tighten the tissue over time. I often recommend it for patients who want a natural improvement in firmness and skin quality.

The results build gradually, which is something my clients really appreciate.

Treating Dark Circles and Pigmentation

Not all under-eye concerns are wrinkles. Many people struggle with pigmentation or dark circles, and this can be treated differently.

Laser treatments like Aerolase Neo  or the Vi Peel can help improve pigmentation and even out the skin tone in this delicate area.

Sometimes we also combine treatments with medical-grade skincare to get the best results.

Skincare Matters More Than You Think

I always tell my clients that treatments are powerful, but your skincare routine plays a huge role in maintaining results.

Medical-grade products like Alastin, skin better science and SkinCeuticals just to name a few contain ingredients that support collagen and improve skin quality over time.

Ingredients I love for the eye area include:

• retinol

• peptides

• antioxidants

• growth factors

When patients stay consistent with their skincare, the improvement around the eyes can be even more noticeable.

My Approach to Treating the Eye Area

In my experience, the best results usually come from combining treatments.

For example, we might use:

laser resurfacing for texture

RF microneedling for tightening

medical-grade skincare for maintenance

This allows us to address multiple signs of aging at once.

Every patient is different, which is why I always recommend starting with a consultation so we can create the best plan for your skin.
