Revived Medical Aesthetics

By Jenn: Medical Aesthetician at Revived Medical Aesthetics

As a medical aesthetician for Revived Med Spa, one of the most common things I hear is, “I just want to stop dealing with the irritation.”

And honestly… I get it.

Laser hair removal isn’t just about less hair, I t’s about helping your skin feel better.

If you deal with constant shaving, waxing, or tweezing, you already know how frustrating it can be. Razor burn, ingrown hairs, bumps, and even rashes can become a cycle that never really ends. I see this all the time, especially in areas like the bikini line, underarms, and face.

This is where laser hair removal can truly make a difference.

Let’s Talk Skin Irritation + Ingrown Hairs

When hair is repeatedly removed at the surface (like shaving), it often grows back unevenly or gets trapped under the skin and  leading to ingrown hairs, inflammation, and those painful bumps we all hate.

Laser hair removal works differently.

Instead of constantly removing hair at the surface, we target the follicle itself. Over time, this helps slow down growth, soften the hair, and significantly reduce the chance of ingrowns and irritation.

For many of my clients, this is the real win. Calmer , smoother skin.

Is It Permanent? Let’s Be Honest.

I always like to keep it real with my clients…

Laser hair removal is not 100% permanent hair removal but it is a permanent reduction.

That means:

• Hair grows back finer and lighter

• Growth slows down significantly

• Many areas stay almost hair-free with maintenance

Most clients reach a point where they’re no longer shaving daily (or even weekly), and that alone is life changing.

PCOS + Hormonal Hair Growth

This is something I’m especially passionate about helping with.

For clients with PCOS, hair growth can feel overwhelming and honestly… discouraging. It’s not just cosmetic,  it can affect confidence, daily routine, and how you feel in your own skin.

While laser hair removal doesn’t “fix” the hormonal imbalance, it does help manage the symptoms.

I work with many clients who:

• Experience excess facial or body hair

• Struggle with constant regrowth

• Feel like nothing else has worked

With consistency and the right treatment plan, we can significantly reduce that growth and make it much more manageable.

And just as important we create a plan that works with your body, not against it.

Who Is This Best For?

Laser hair removal is great for:

• Clients prone to ingrown hairs

• Anyone dealing with razor burn or chronic irritation

• Those tired of constant shaving or waxing

• Clients with PCOS or hormonal hair growth

• Anyone wanting smoother, healthier-looking skin

My Approach

Every client’s skin and hair type is different, which is why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

When you come in, I’m looking at:

• Your skin type

• Hair texture and density

• Any underlying conditions (like PCOS or sensitivity)

• Your long-term goals

From there, we build a plan that’s realistic, safe, and gets you results.
